Newborn – Malcolm

I think Malcolm’s session is one of my favorites. He was so great throughout the whole photoshoot. I was happy to be able try out a new finely knit Mohair bonnet I purchased.
I was sad to hear that Malcolm and his family were relocating to Vancouver over the summer. I will miss working with you guys! Best wishes to all your future endeavors!

Newborn – Lauren

I knew Lauren’s mom from high school, so of course I was happy when she contacted me to do photos!
Lauren was great in her session, she even got to model her ‘made from the heart’ Sock Monkey from her grandma!

Newborn – Findley

It has certainly been an amazing blessing to capture the journey of this family.
I met Rochelle and Tyler several years ago when she hired me to take photos of her with her parents and brother. Soon after I was contacted again for their engagement photos and than their beautiful wedding! It broke my heart to hear that earlier this year Rochelle and her family lost her Dad to cancer. I remember how joyful he was and enjoying his company for the short time I spent with them. It makes me so happy to see that Rochelle and Tyler are growing their own family and sharing their love with their handsome son Findley. I truly wish them the best in all that they do.

Newborn – Aria

Sweet Aria was fairly awake for most of her session but that didn’t stop us from capturing those cute sleepy moments.
I am looking forward to seeing Aria for her 1 year cake smash in March!

Newborn – Evelyn

I am so happy to share these photos with you! This was definitely my best newborn session to date. Little Evelyn was so perfect and sleepy, and her two big sisters were so giggly! I just love this family to pieces and I am blessed to know them personally. Please share my blog and let me know what you think!
P.S. I also hand crocheted the Rainbow Elf Hat! [DIY Photographer]evelyncollage2a evelyncollage1a

Bloject – Greek Yogurt Chocolate Chip Muffins

I found this recipe through one of my favorite sites… pinterest of course, the link to the original recipe is HERE

These muffins are so fluffy and sweet, and super easy to make! I whipped a batch up in the morning and they were ready in time for when my house guests woke up 🙂 Excellent breakfast!

Ok! So let’s get started.
Preheat your oven y’all. 400º
Here are your ingredients:
muffins-2Sugar, Flour, Oil, Salt, Baking Powder, Eggs, Greek Yogurt, and Chocolate Chips (Not in picture)

Start by taking a medium bowl, mix together 2 cups of flour, 1 cup of white sugar, 1/2 tsp salt, and 2 tsp baking powder.

Than make a well in your dry ingredient mixture, and set aside.
Grab another bowl and get ready to mix your wet ingredients:
add 1/3 cup vegetable oil, 2 eggs, and 2/3 cup Greek yogurt and whisk to combine.
Pour wet mixture into the well in your dry ingredients.

Than mix your wet & dry ingredients together, only until combined. After that, add your chocolate chips by folding them in (my favorite tool is a good ol’ wooden spoon)

Next step: Take your muffin tins, place muffin cups in each spot, and than fill about 3/4 full with the batter

Now you are ready to put them in the oven 🙂
Set your timer for 20 mins, and when they are done test with a tooth pick to make sure the batter is cooked all the way through.
Than you can pull them out and cool them on a cooling rack.

Enjoy your delicious muffins friends! (They are soo good when still warm) Let me know what you think 🙂

Elaine & Cory

Elaine and Cory had an amazing wedding! They are such a fun, genuine couple, I couldn’t have pictured their day any differently! Everything was put together perfectly, and to top everything off they had a Celtic & Bollywood dance infusion to entertain all their guests! These two fit together like two puzzle pieces, and I know they will have an amazing journey together as Husband & Wife. Congratulations Cory & Elaine!

Deanna & Richard

Deanna and Richard had a beautiful, intimate wedding at the Muttart Consveratory. With all their friends and family surrounding them they vowed their love to each other and you couldn’t help but share in that love. This couple was so humble and gracious throughout their wedding day, I could not have asked for better clients. I pray that their walk in marriage is blessed and that they continue to share their amazing love with all that they cross paths with. Congratulations Deanna & Richard!

Quilting Craze

Seeing as I havn’t blogged since the fall, why not kick it off with a personal post!
Aside from doing photography and coaching gymnastics I have a handful of well loved hobbies.
Painting, baking, crafting, crochet, canning, and Sewing!
As of lately I have been on kind of a quilting craze! I have a goal set to have a handmade-craft sale in the summer and I want to have 10 completed quilts for that sale!
Here is a compilation of photos of quilts while there were/are in progress. The first bunch of photos was for a Chevron quilt and it turned out awesome, but I didn’t get a picture of it completed before I gifted it, but I am sure you can envision it!

Once I have completed them all that will be another blog post 😉
and just as a minor disclaimer *I am by no means a professional or advanced quilter, I merely  do this as a love for the art and to feed my creativity.
